On Sunday, 5th November 2023, the Department of Nursing at Al-Maarif University College held a scientific seminar entitled (How to Deal with Epilepsy), given by Asst. Lec. Raad Sabah Jameel. The lecturer explained epilepsy, what types of epilepsy seizures, causes, and what interventions are needed to deal with seizures at home and school. Finally, the lecturer provided the most important recommendations and first aid to follow in dealing with people during epileptic seizures. The seminar was held in cooperation with all departments, units, and the Unit of Continuing Learning at the College.
