On Tuesday, 18th May 2023, the Department of Pharmacy at Al-Maarif University College held a scientific seminar entitled (Kidney Failure and Its Side Effects on Society). The seminar explained the causes for the failure and proposed the establishment of a statistical field research team to identify the reasons for its rise in Al-Anbar Governorate. The symposium was attended by the Dean’s Asst. for Scientific Affairs, the Dean’s Asst. for Administrative Affairs and several lecturers, as well as a doctor from Al-Anbar Health Directorate, and a urologist from Al-Ramadi Hospital. The Scientific seminar was given by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ibtisam Taher Saber, in addition to several first and second-year students from the department.
