On Thursday, 12th December 2024, Department of English Language – College of Education at University of Al-Maarif organized an academic seminar entitled (Difficulties facing university students in uttering some English voices), discussing the main challenges students face in pronouncing English voices. Lecturers also reviewed the linguistic and physiological causes of these problems and their impact on students’ oral communication skills.
Participants made a range of recommendations, including intensifying training in listening and pronunciation skills using modern techniques and integrating interactive activities that help students improve their language performance.
At the conclusion of the seminar, Head of Department stressed the importance of continuing to organize such events to support students and help them overcome the challenges they face in learning English.
