Al-Maarif University College, in cooperation with the Association of Islamic Arts, obtained the first position for the participation of Engineer Baira Mezher Hamlush in his project at the First Light Science and Technology Exhibition held by the Iraqi Society of Engineering Management and in cooperation with Noor Al-Aqaf Development Company and the organization of exhibitions and conferences at the Hall of the Iraqi Engine, under the slogan “By our research… And our industry… We upgrade the summits”.
With the support of Al-Maarif University College, the Deanship of Prof. Yaqoub Nadhim Ahmed, and the follow-up of the Head of the Department of Computer Technology Engineering, Dr. Mohammed Basil Abdulkareem, and the supervision of the teachers Asst. Lec. Mustafa Ma ‘d Hamdi and Asst. Lec. Ahmed Shamil Mustafa, the fourth-stage students of the telecommunications branch (Osman Arkan Rahoumi and Omar Abdulaziz Saud) were able to obtain the acceptance of a publication to discuss their graduation at the IEEE conference in Scopas.
The admission of such research to an international conference at this level is a scientific achievement that confirms the advanced scientific level of students of Al-Maarif University College, which qualifies them to publish scientific research in sober international journals and conferences even though they are still in the bachelor’s degree.
