Computer Science Department
The Department of Computer Science was established in 2001. The department prepares the students to specialize in various fields of computer science and qualified the graduated students to work in public and private sectors in the fields of programming and teaching computer science as well as computer programing and maintenance, programming systems that are used to manage institutions, companies, commercial centers, communication systems, transportation. The department follows the course system in the study and offers morning and evening studies. The Department grants a bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science after four years of study.
Vision
The department aspires to open branches in the fields of computer science, which are software, information systems, artificial intelligence, and Cybersecurity. The department also activates the consulting office specialized in the electronic field for government and private institutions, holding courses for department employees through this office.
Mission
Producing a generation specialized in computer science that can deal with the data of this technology in maintenance, operation, and designing modern scientific programs that keep pace with modern developments.
