Department of Dentistry
Department of Dentistry has been established for the academic year 2022-2023 due to an urgent need in Anbar Governorate. Al-Maarif University College has established the department after conducting studies, gathering material and human capabilities required by the newly established department due to the directives of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The approval of the Ministry to create the department under Resolution No. 4274 has been obtained, so that graduates of the preparatory school – the scientific and biological branch – are accepted into the department in accordance with the regulations for admission. After five years of successful study, the department awards a bachelor’s degree in Dentistry.
Al-Maarif University College has been keen to attract specialists in dental sciences who are known for their scientific and research competence and ability to be within department staff. On the other hand, much attention has been paid to equipping the department with devices, equipment and materials necessary to conduct the educational process in the department correctly, so that students can acquire the required skills and prepare them for the labour market and for community service.
