English Language Department

The Department of English Language was established in 2002 – 2003. The curriculum of the Department of English combines various fields of study: linguistics, literature, theatre, and cultural studies. The students have the opportunity to explore aspects of literature, cultural studies, performance, and theatre in their seminar work and research. Several qualified Ph.D. and M.A. holders specialized in the English language and literature work in the department, in line with the college’s policy of recruiting competent professional staff. The department follows the semester system in the study and offers morning and evening studies. The Department grants a bachelor’s degree after four years of studies.
