The Rector of University of Al-Maarif, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abd Al-Malik Abd Al-Rahman, and the Rector Scientific Assistant, Dr. Mahmood Abd Al-Razaq participated in the activities of the first international scientific conference on sports sciences, which was held and organized by University of Anbar, in cooperation with the Colleges of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at University of Al-Maarif and University of Samarra, under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboodi.
The conference was attended by the Governor of Al-Anbar, Mr. Mohammed Noori Al-Dulaimi, in the presence of the rectors of the universities, and several deans of colleges of physical education and sports sciences in Iraq and foreign universities, as well as several distinguished academics and researchers from inside and outside Iraq.
The conference highlighted the latest developments and scientific research in the field of sports sciences and the development of sports performance, as it is scheduled to include several scientific sessions that discuss a variety of topics in the fields of sports sciences, in addition to workshops aimed at exchanging ideas and experiences among participants.
