part of activities held at Al-Maarif University College (Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies), and under the direction of Dean of College, Prof. Dr. Yaqoub Nadhim Ahmed, and Head of Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies, Prof. Dr. Iyad Matar Abdel-Razzaq, it was held on Sunday, January 23rd / 2022 Extra-curricular activity in the department’s microbiology laboratories by (Asst.Lect. Muhammad Mukhles Ahmed and Mr. Omar Dia Al-Din), as the activity included (Detection of microbial contamination of portable mobile devices), due to what these phones carry from Microbes that are pathogenic and harmful to human health come from different sources. A group of mobile phones were collected, samples were taken from them, and they were planted on dishes designated for the development of these microbes, and this microbial contamination was observed the next day.
