The Department of Nursing was established in 2020-2021, based on the urgent needs of the province for nursing cadres. It considers the first medical department of nursing in Al-Anbar province. The Department works collaboratively with national public and private healthcare institutions which provide support for clinical experiences in diverse clinical settings. The undergraduate students are well supported by clinicians in practice, with the aim of educating nurses of the highest quality. The Department seeks to foster collaboration with other universities. The department follows the course system in the study and offers morning study. The Department grants a bachelor’s degree after four years of studies.
