The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the effectiveness of Iraqi governmental and private university institutions; due to its effective performance in accordance with its goals and academic achievements, as the specialists of the quality assessment file according to the IRU classification conducted a comprehensive evaluation of eighty-three public and private educational institutions distributed over thirty-six public universities, and forty-seven universities and private colleges (out of 70 universities, colleges and private branches) Eight hundred and seventy-five specialized colleges and one thousand seven hundred and twenty-nine scientific departments, and the evaluation included standards related to the institutional environment and academic programs.
