Al-Maarif University College participated in the athletics championship from the 6th – 9th of March 2023, for Iraqi public and private universities and colleges, with the participation of 67 universities and colleges, at the stadiums of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences – University of Baghdad.
Positive results were achieved at the level of public and private universities and colleges in Iraq.
The participation included the following events:
The Event of 100 m.
The Weight-Throwing Effectiveness.
The Event of 400m Freestyle.
The Event of the Long Jump.
The Event of Javelin Throwing.
The Event of 100×4 mail.
The Event of the 110m Steeplechase.
This activity came within the ministerial curriculum established by the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority – Student Activities Unit, under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboodi, and the supervision of the Rector of University of Baghdad Prof. Dr. Muneer Hameed Al-Saadi.
