Under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research – Scientific Evaluation and Supervision Authority – Student Activities section and jointly organized by the University of Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Maarif University College, the volleyball tournament for students of universities, private and governmental colleges was launched in Al-Qadisiyah University, in the presence of the representative of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research – Professor Dr. Ammar Khalil Ibrahim, and the Dean of Al-Maarif University College – Prof. Dr. Yaqoub Nadhim Ahmed, the President of Al-Qadisiyah University – Prof. Dr.Kadhim Jabir Al-Juboury, and the Governor of Al-Qadisiyah.
The activities of this tournament started with the opening ceremony with the speech of the Dean of Al-Maarif University College and the President of Al-Qadisiyah University.
The competition started after the opening ceremony between Iraqi universities, whose activities continued from 6 th to 16 th December 2021.
The opening match was between the AUC team and the University of Babylon. And the AUC team won the match after an exciting and strong match.
