On Sunday, April 28th, 2024, the Dean of Al-Maarif University College, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abd Al-Malik attended the meeting of the private Higher Education Council chaired by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naem Al-Aboodi.
At the beginning of the meeting, the minister stressed keeping pace with the knowledge changes in the academic environment and embodying the qualitative response to the requirements of the approved educational policy, calling at the same time for making the utmost efforts to achieve the mission and goals of public and private higher education institutions alike.
The Minister urged universities and private colleges to pursue academic twinning and work in accordance with the requirements of the National Strategy for Education, which aims to improve the outcomes of the educational process and meet the requirements of the labor market in a manner consistent with the current and future needs of society and the national economy.
The Council discussed the topics on the agenda related to the secondment of teaching staff, the assignment of university administrations, the course of the ministerial examination, and the scientific research index.
