On Monday, 23rd September 2024, the Continuing Learning Unit at University of Al-Maarif held a seminar entitled (Reading Competition in its Second Edition) in cooperation with Department of Arabic Language, and the Division of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation. The seminar addressed the importance of reading, its value, and its role in learning and building character, as well as the definition of the competition, its content, methods of participation, its prizes, and mechanisms for motivating students to read. The seminar on reading competition came as part of the university’s campaign to support the reading competition.
