The Student Activities Division at University of Al-Maarif participated in the development course for chiefs of the artistic and cultural divisions, which was held at University of Basra – College of Arts, attended by Mr. Aws Abd Al-Salam, and Mr. Mohammed Falah Fajr represented the university, as many participation came from various Iraqi universities and colleges.
During the course, several topics were discussed, including the latest methods in managing cultural events, developing creative artistic programs, enhancing cooperation among cultural institutions, and discussing artistic and cultural matters related to short films, plastic arts, and theater.
This course was held under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboodi, and the direct supervision of the Chairman of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority.
The University is one of the sponsors of this development course, it emphasizes the importance of investing in the human element and developing its capabilities, believing that qualified cadres are the basis for progress and prosperity.
