The Department of Civil Engineering at University of Al-Maarif conducted a training course entitled (Planning for Construction Projects Using the Primavera P6 Programme), in collaboration with the Iraqi Engineers’ Union – Anbar Branch, and the Continuing Learning Centre at the University, given by Dr. Ali Abd Al-Jabbar Salih, a lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering, and a planning engineer in several Iraqi and foreign construction companies. The course included project management concepts and the project’s life cycle. The structure of the work and the construction of the schedule in preparation for the implementation of the projects in the forthcoming lectures. The course aimed to build the capacity of engineers working in the government and private sectors and to develop the skills of students of civil engineering departments in Iraqi universities.
