College of Sciences – Department of Computer Sciences at University of Al-Maarif, held a special awareness-raising campaign on the importance of the census and its role in the development of society through the distribution of brochures aimed at raising awareness of the census.
The brochures included several topics, including information on the population density and poverty rate in society, electrical power consumption analysis and services provided, recognising the level of education and occupations available, studying mortality rates, births and marriages.
The campaign was held in cooperation with the Division of Women’s Affairs, aimed to highlight the census’s role in future planning, the distribution of national wealth, and the provision of equitable employment opportunities for young people.
