On Monday, 10th February 2025, the College of Dentistry at University of Al-Maarif held a scientific seminar titled (Climate Change and its Influence on Human Health), given by Asst. Prof. Nasr Aafat Al-Obaidi, highlighted the negative effects of climate change, with a focus on global warming and its impact on human health, as well as discussed possible measures to mitigate these effects, providing a set of scientific recommendations to help reduce climate change and minimize the consequences of global warming. This seminar was held as part of a series of scientific activities organized by the Department of Dentistry to raise environmental and health awareness, in collaboration with the Continuing Learning Centre and the Women’s Affairs Unit at the university.
