On Wednesday, 23rd April 2025, Department of Medical Devices Engineering Techniques – College of Engineering Technologies at University of Al-Maarif organized a scientific visit to Al-Shifa Hospital to enrich students’ applied knowledge and equip them with hands-on skills in the use and maintenance of medical devices within real healthcare environments, accompanied by Asst. Lec. Alaa Hamid, Asst. Lec. Waleed Muwafaq Abdulwahid, and Asst. Lec. Mohammed Dhiaa Abdulkarim. The tours introduced students to the latest medical devices and technologies. The hospital’s technical staff, in coordination with the academic staff, provided detailed explanations on the devices’ functionality, operation, and optimal maintenance. This visit reflects the department’s commitment to providing a comprehensive educational environment that bridges theoretical knowledge with practical application, thereby preparing students for the medical job market following the highest scientific and professional standards.
