In a significant academic achievement, University of Al-Maarif has been ranked among the top ten Iraqi private universities and colleges regarding the number of scientific research papers published within the Scopus database, according to the official statistics issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The report indicates that 1,014 research papers have been published under the university’s name from 1993 to the present, reflecting a notable advancement in research activity and a growing engagement with global academic research standards. Covering the entire year of 2024, it highlights the university’s strategic commitment to strengthening its presence in both international and national academic rankings by fostering a culture of research excellence, supporting scientific publishing, and encouraging engagement with globally recognized databases.
