On Monday, 21st July 2025, College of Engineering Technologies at University of Al-Maarif organized a scientific training workshop in collaboration with Philips company titled (The Development of Biomedical Engineers’ Skills and the Future of Medical Devices in the Age of Artificial Intelligence), focusing on the latest global innovations in medical device technology and included practical demonstrations illustrating how artificial intelligence can be integrated into the development of these devices and employed to diagnose medical conditions with high accuracy and efficiency, attended by Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, Dr. Mustafa Mohammed Khalaf, and Dean of the College of Dentistry, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Hamad Mukhlef, along with several assistant deans, department heads from both colleges, and representatives from Anbar Branch of the Engineers Syndicate. This workshop aims to prepare students for the job market and keep them updated on global developments in their field. Through such collaborations, the University reaffirms its commitment to building effective partnerships with leading local and international institutions supporting its educational and research mission.
