On Monday, 27th January 2025, College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at University of Al-Maarif organized a centralized flag raising in cooperation with the International Association of Scouts and Guides, in the presence of the representative of the Rector of the University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Yasir Mohammed Hamood, Dr. Iyad Khalaf, Manager of Vocational Education, Member of the International Scouting Association, and Dr. Muneer Abdullah, Dean of the College.
The decrees included various events and words by the members of the association as well as the inauguration of the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abd Al-Malik Abd Al-Rahman as an honorary president of the association in Anbar.This activity came as part of the initiative of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to consolidate the patriotism and love of the Iraqi flag among students.
