Catered by Dean of Al-Maarif University College Prof. DR. Yaqoop Nadhim Ahmed and the head of the department of Nursing Dr. mahasin talib Mohammed, and as a scientific and awareness activity, a group of students conducted an awareness campaign entitled (Treatment of Captagon addiction) by cooperation with the Saba’ Sanabel (seven corps) Organization for Relief and Development, the aim is to raise awareness among community in all its fields. The college shield was awarded to the head of the organization and thanked for the respectful reception of the nursing staff, professors and students. An awareness lecture was held by nursing students for groups of people hosted by the organization, in addition to distributing brochures to reduce the use of this deadly drug
