Asst. Prof. Dr. Saadi Jasim Abd Al-Kareem, a lecturer in the College of Medical and Health Techniques – Department of Medical Laboratories Techniques at University of Al-Maarif was selected among the list of the top 2% of researchers worldwide according to the updated global researchers’ database for the citation index and according to a study issued by Stanford University in the United States for the year 2024, which is based on the number of citations in the Scopus database of the publishing house Elsevier. The ranking is based on a set of important criteria; which are the number of researches published in reputable scientific journals, the number of citations for each scientific research indexed in databases, and the quality of published research. The data of this study is based on the ranking of researchers into 22 scientific specializations and 174 sub-specializations according to the standard Science-Metrix rankings, where the list included 209 researchers from various public and private Iraqi universities.
