on thursday, 11th may 2023, the dean assistant for administrative affairs dr. hussam hussain mazban participated in the viva of the master’s thesis presented by the student tahseen alaa husain – department of al-sharia – college of islamic sciences – university of samarra.
the examiners discussed the entitled thesis (careful explanation of prevention by aladdin ali bin omar al-aswad al-qara hisari, the famous qarah khawaja 800 ah, from the cause of divorce by study and investigation). after an extensive discussion, the student was given a very good degree in islamic sciences. this participation came within the policy of university of almaarif’s openness, communication, and cooperation with official academic institutions.
