The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at University of Al-Maarif held a scientific course entitled (Sports Injuries, Their Causes, Methods of Prevention, Methods of Treatment), for two days of the 19th and the 20th of October, 2024. The course was held in cooperation with Al-Mustansiriya University – College of Basic Education – Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and the Continuing Learning Centre at the university. It was lectured by Asst. Prof. Lina Sabah Matti, Al-Mustansiriya University, College of Basic Education – Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and Asst. Prof. Bilal Hatim, University of Al-Maarif – College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, supervised by Asst. Prof. Nawfal Qahtan – College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Maaref University. The course was attended by many academic and sports figures, as well as many interested in physical therapy from inside and outside the governorate.
