On Saturday, 28th October 2023, the Department of Medical Laboratories Techniques at Al-Maarif University College held a scientific exhibition to increase health awareness among students. The scientific exhibition included several activities on the most common diseases to familiarize students and visitors with how to prevent them, as well as several health education workshops, including:
- A health workshop on measuring blood pressure.
- A health workshop on measuring diabetes – blood sugar level.
- A health workshop to learn about blood type.
The Asst. Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Muthanna Abd Al-Wahab Al-Mawla opened the exhibition, under the supervision of the lecturers of the department Asst. Lec. Sura Hasan, and Asst. Lec. Ali Mahdi, with the participation of several students of the fourth-year students. This activity was held based on the principle of increasing scientific awareness about the most common diseases among the students of the college and the visitors.
