On Monday, 13th May 2024, the lecturer of the Department of English Language, Asst. Lec. Dheyaa Waheed Ghafir at Al-Maarif University College participated in the First International Scientific Conference on Languages and Literature with the entitled research (The Role of A Safe Haven in Kopano Matlwa’s Evening Primrose), in collaboration with Asst. Prof. Dr. Omar Mohammed Abdullah, a lecturer in the Department of English at the College of Education for Girls – University of Anbar. The conference was held by the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Anbar under the heading (Languages and its literature are academic communication and scientific creativity), chaired by Asst. prof. Dr. Mohammed Falih Hassan, the lecturer at the College of Arts at the University of Anbar.
