The College of Pharmacy – the Pharmaceutical, Toxicology and Clinical Pharmacy Branch at University of Al-Maarif held a scientific seminar for the second-year students, in the presence of Dean of the College Prof. Dr. Ibtisam Al-Aboosi, supervised by Prof. Maysaa Abd Al-Khaliq, and Asst. Lec. Ammar Yassir Ahmed.
The seminar aimed to familiarize students with the latest developments in the field of pharmacy, and motivate them to participate in scientific research, it addressed three main themes: the role of vaccines in the treatment of cervical cancer and the future perspective, a comprehensive study of Marfan syndrome: diagnosis and therapeutic challenges, and targeting the drug from molecule to hope.
Several scientific topics were discussed in the field of pharmacy, the latest research and studies were reviewed in the presence of several lecturers and students, which led to the enrichment of scientific dialogue and the opening of debates.
