Under the slogan Go Green launched by University of Al-Maarif, College of Pharmacy initiated an afforestation campaign for the Ibn Al-Etheer Girls’ High School in Al-Anbar with a voluntary team of lecturers of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Ibtisam Tahir al-Abboossi – Dean of the College, Maysaa Ali, Dr. Marwan Ibrahim, Asst. Lec. Ammar Yasir Ahmed, Abeer Abdullah Hamid, and Omar Jasim Ahmed, along with several students from the college.
During the visit, permanent trees and plants were cultivated and continued to pursue the forestry campaign weekly to ensure the sustainability and growth of agriculture.
This campaign is in the context of the branch’s vision and college, which aims to solidify environmental conservation values and effectively address the challenges of climate change.
