On Sunday, 6th October 2024, the Women’s Affairs Unit at University of Al-Maarif organized a seminar entitled (University Uniform, Evidence of Awareness and Progress) headed by the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abd Al-Malik Al-Saadi.
The seminar aimed to consolidate the concept of uniform as it represents the identity of the university student, as well as to educate and guide female students and adhere to modest dress and adhere to the university uniform according to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and direct female students to adhere to attendance and the official uniform to achieve excellence, success, and equality among students, as well as alert female students that the university uniform is not a forced matter, but rather a material and moral affiliation and prevent class disparity in society.
