On Thursday 28th November 2024, College of Education – Department of English Language organized a scientific seminar entitled (Curricula and Strategies for Educational and Psychological Guidance), given by Dr. Abd Al-Wahid Hameed Thamir, addressed educational and psychological counselling techniques, showcasing videos and images of potential negative behaviours that could arise in universities, going against the ethical standards of the academic setting. He also offered advice to students, stressing the significance of wearing appropriate uniforms, honouring lecture schedules, attending classes regularly, maintaining good communication with teachers, and being aware of the risks associated with smoking, drugs, and online harassment.
This seminar is part of the University’s outreach activities that enhance knowledge and awareness about the issues at stake.
