On Tuesday, 8th July 2025, College of Science at University of Al-Maarif Organized an international scientific workshop in collaboration with Liverpool John Moores University via Google Meet, under the patronage of Dean of College of Science, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Khalaf, to strengthen international academic cooperation, titled (Deep Machine Learning and Data Science in Practice: Avoiding Common Mistakes) featured a series of lectures given by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Khalaf – University of Al-Maarif, Dr. Luke Topham, and Dr. Wasiq Khan – Liverpool John Moores University. The discussions centered around the most common errors faced by researchers and developers in the fields of machine learning and data science, while offering practical solutions and expert recommendations. The event attracted wide participation from academics, researchers, and postgraduate students across various universities, creating a productive and interactive scientific atmosphere that reflects the College of Science’s commitment to academic excellence and global engagement in the field of scientific research.
