Al-Maarif University College received a shield of distinguished, a medal, and a certificate accredited by the Asian Powerlifting Federation in the tournament which was held at the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. The honourary awards were handed over to the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abd Al-Malik Abd Al-Rahman by Dr. Yassir Mohammed, the rapporteur of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. This activity came as part of the cultural and sports activities carried out by the Deanship of Al-Maarif University College and its participation in international events and competitions
