On Monday, 21st August 2023, the Championship of Asian Cup for physical strength in the United Arab Emirates were concluded, Al-Maarif University College participated in this championship with forty-six universities and colleges in the continent of Asia and from multiple countries (UAE-Iraq-Saudi Arabia-Kuwait-Qatar-Iran-Jordan -Syria-Pakistan-India-Kyrgyzstan). Al-Marrif University College was represented by student Mohammed Naji Hamad from the Department of Law who gained an advanced position in Deadlift and Bench Press. The championship ceremonies were opened on Thursday 17th August, in the presence of the Deputy Emir of Sharjah and the sponsor of the tournament, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the president of members of the Asian Federation, and several sports and political figures in the United Arab Emirates. The Deanship of Al-Maarif University College supports all activities and always sought to participate in all sporting, cultural and social activities inside and outside the country.
