On Tuesday 20th February 2024, the ministerial committee of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research consisting of (the National Oversight Body, the Prime Minister, the Iraqi National Security Service, and Higher Education and Scientific Research) paid a field visit to Al-Maarif University College to check the laboratories of the college and implement a program that evaluates procedures and standards for biosecurity and chemical accidents by the National Monitoring Authority for the Prevention of Biological Proliferation Law No. 48 of 2012 and raise awareness of laboratory workers in the field of risk management. After the visit, the Committee thanked the College for its efforts to fulfil all the required requirements.
