On Tuesday, 12th November 2024, College of Science at University of Al-Maarif held a scientific competition in computer science subjects in cooperation with the Continuing Learning Centre. The competition consisted of a wide variety of scientific questions, and important topics in computer science disciplines such as networks, security, operating systems, information technology, software engineering, databases and some important algorithms, aimed to raise the scientific value of students and urge them to enrich their knowledge and actively engage students in dialogue and discussion in scientific and cultural activities.
The competition was prepared and presented by Dr. Ahmed Abd Al-Jabbar Hamad, Dean Assistant of the College of Science and Dr. Mohamed Ismat, Head of Computer Science.
The competition concluded with three winners, Tabarak Sofiane, Momen Hani and Karam Al Fatih, answering the most questions and awarding them the competition prizes.
