Al-Maarif University College, with the Dean Prof. Dr. Yaqoub Nadhim Ahmed, lecturers, and staff congratulated Professor Dhia’ Al-Jumaily, Assistant Dean of the College of Engineering at the British University of Liverpool John Morris, on his award of the Order of the Empire (O.B.E) in a constellation of figures under the orders of the British Queen Elizabeth.
Professor Dhia’ Al-Jumaily visited Al-Maarif University College several times and held several scientific workshops as well was one of the official speakers at the first International Conference on Applied Computing: Innovation and Technology held by the College in September 2019.
