On Tuesday, 25th February 2025, Department of English Language – College of Education at University of Al-Maarif, organized a seminar given by the Russian guest Radik Kudoyarov a Filmmaking Counselor which focused on content creation mechanisms and purposeful filmmaking, particularly historical films, emphasizing the role of media in guiding society.
The speaker emphasized the significance of media in conveying meaningful messages and raising societal awareness. He also shared his experiences in filmmaking, discussed the challenges filmmakers face, and highlighted techniques for engaging audiences through visual storytelling.
The session was attended by Dean of College of Education, Dr. Marwan Khalil, Dean of College of Computer Science, Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim, alongside lecturers and students from the English Department. The event featured dynamic discussions, with attendees posing questions about filmmaking techniques and the role of modern technology in advancing the field, fostering an enriching exchange of ideas and insights.
