On Thursday, 20th February 2025, Prof. Dr. Khalid Awad Al-Alwani, Dean of College of Law at University of Al-Maarif gave a lecture titled (The Legal Confrontation of Criminal Phenomena Related to Children and the Threat to Society), organized by the Children’s Culture House and the Centre for Studies and Research at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, shed light on various criminal behaviours that pose a threat to society, their severe consequences on both the present and the future, and the key factors contributing to such phenomena. Additionally, it presented legal strategies to combat these issues effectively.
The event took place at the Youth and Sports Forum in Fallujah, attended by the District Commissioner, the Director General of the Children’s Culture House, officials from the Centre for Studies and Research at the Ministry of Culture, heads of various departments, as well as a distinguished gathering of professors, intellectuals, and employees.
