On Tuesday, 23th April 2024, a meeting of the Deans’ Committee of Dental Colleges was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Raghad Abd Al-Razaq Al-Hashimi, Chairman of the Deans’ Committee of Dental Colleges in Baghdad.
The meeting was held in the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Hamad, the Head of the Department of Dentistry at Al-Maarif University College. Several topics were discussed, the most important of which were the Ministerial examinations and a discussion of modifying the curriculum of the colleges of dentistry by adding new materials, reducing the number of hours of certain non-essential subjects, and modifying some of the curriculum’s materials.
It was agreed on the need to act on accreditation and to urge colleges to expedite the provision of accreditation requirements this year.
