Department Vision
The Department will provide distinguished pharmacy education through accredited scientific programs to prepare highly qualified pharmacists who are able to contribute to improving health care for the community and to compete in the fields of work at the national and regional levels; to consolidate the ethics of the pharmacy profession in its graduates and instill the values of self and continuous education and conduct advanced scientific research that contributes to the development of pharmaceutical industry medication; to meet the health needs of the community. Aspirations to be a pioneer in pharmaceutical education at the local and international levels, and in the academic and professional fields. The outputs are theoretically and practically distinguished by providing the best programs in the pharmaceutical and medical fields; focusing on the practical part of education, so that its outputs are leaders in the field of pharmaceutical manufacturing and clinical pharmacy; to supply the labor market with specialized scientific competencies in the field of pharmacy.

Alumni Description
The department graduates highly competent pharmacists capable of serving their country in the health and pharmaceutical industry sectors. It is worth mentioning that the graduate has the right to work in the Ministry of Health in hospitals and specialized health centers.
Scientific Missions:
- Granting a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
- Providing scientific, technical, and applied medical advice to state institutions and the private sector, and cooperating with all state institutions for the purpose of building the capabilities of functional staff through training courses in the available fields.
- Holding scientific conferences, (international and local) symposia, and seminars in areas that serve the community and that contribute to raising the efficiency of the performance of the public and private sectors, and revitalizing the scientific movement and scientific research.
- Cooperation between the Department of Pharmacy at Al-Maarif University College and corresponding departments in international and local colleges and universities in order to achieve scientific and technological development in pharmacy disciplines and related fields.
- Develop research units in basic scientific fields, which contribute to community service through the applied research carried out, according to the needs of state institutions.
- Issuing a special issue in the college journal specializing in pharmaceutical sciences and its branches, in accordance with the conditions of local and international scientific sobriety.
- A twinning procedure with public universities and reputable international universities to develop teaching staff and students.
