The Rector of University of Al-Maarif, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abd Al-Malik Abd Al-Rahman held an expanded meeting with the teaching staff in the presence of Rector Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Mahmood Abd Al-Razaq, and Rector Assistant for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Muthanna Abd Al-Wahab Jumaa, as well as deans of colleges, and heads of all departments on the occasion of the commencement of the new academic year 2024-2025. The Rector welcomed the attendees and presented the scientific and academic achievements made at the university during the past year, stressed several important points, including preparing for the new academic year, and the necessity of providing all scientific and service requirements for students according to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as directed the lecturers to adhere to the weekly lecture schedule, pay attention to scientific research, publish research papers in global containers and support scientific activities. At the end of the meeting, the Rector instructed the necessity of dealing with the student educationally, noting that the university door is open to everyone, professors, students, and citizens, to receive any opinion or suggestion, hoping that this academic year will be distinguished in its scientific giving. This meeting came as part of the periodic meetings held by the Rectorate of the University with the academic staff to support the educational process.
