Dr. Mahmood Al-Saadi, the Rector Scientific Assistant at University of Al-Maarif took part in the forty-sixth session of the meetings of the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils, which was held at University of Baghdad to support the scientific process, in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboodi, which stressed in his speech the importance of complementarity and cooperation among academic institutions to enhance the status of Arab universities globally.
The session opened with official speeches on the challenges and opportunities for scientific research to develop in the Arab world and a lecture on science, technology, and innovation indicators in the region.
At the end of the session, the Minister called for the launch of the Arab Scientific Research Award to support researchers and develop the environment for joint scientific research.
Dr. Mahmood Al-Saadi’s participation reflected the commitment of the University to support scientific research and promote joint academic work as part of its strategic vision to cooperate with distinguished scientific institutions at Arab and international levels.
