On Tuesday, 5th November 2024, College of Finance and Administration – Department of Business Administration at University of Al-Maarif held an awareness seminar entitled (Drugs in Iraq: Causes and Treatments), given by Head of Business Administration Asst. Prof. Dr. Saadi Majid Ashoor addressed several topics including the concept of drugs, their risks and causes, as well as the presentation of drug data and statistics in Iraq in general and in Anbar Governorate in particular.
The seminar was held in collaboration with the Continuing Learning Centre, the Media Unit and the Women’s Affairs Division of the University, and concluded with the presentation of a short film entitled (Scourge of Drugs) as an activity for the department’s students.
