supported by Dean of Al-Maarif University College Prof. Dr. Yaqoub Nadhim Ahmed, and Head of Medical Laboratory Techniques Department, Prof. Dr. Iyad Abdul Razzaq Matar; students of the fourth year, supervised by Dr. Mustafa Salem Ibrahim Al-Janabi, have devoted their graduation projects to studying “the impact of infection with the Corona virus (Covid-19) on various body systems.” Al-Maarif University College endorses such modern youth energies to study these sensitive and important topics at this time.
Dr. Mustafa Salem Ibrahim, a specialist in clinical biochemistry, has directed three groups of fourth-year students, each group studying the effect of injury on one of the various body systems.
In this work, we appreciated the health and medical institutions in the governorate, especially the Quarantine Hospital in the 7 km area, for their cooperation with our dear students in taking blood samples and some patient data to accomplish these tasks.
