Assist. Prof. Dr. Khaled Awad Hammadi, the head of the Law Department participates in the proceedings of the conference held by Anbar Police Command – Human Rights Division under the slogan (Support and Consolidation of Human Rights Principles in Security Work).
Assistant Dr. Khaled Awad, in his paper, presented that there is no intersection between fulfilling the requirements of security work and human rights, stressing the importance of the role of security work as a guarantor for the suppression of human rights violations, with the compliance of law enforcement
officials with international legal standards that are considered as a code of conduct that must be observed. The conference took place in the presence of officers of all police formations in Anbar Governorate, other security services, civil society organizations, and a large gathering of citizens.
