Prof. Dr. Ibtisam Al-Aboosi, Dean of College of Pharmacy at University of Al-Maarif participated in the meeting of the Board of Pharmacy Deans in Iraq, which was attended by deans of pharmacy colleges and representatives from relevant academic institutions, addressing several key topics, most notably strategies for developing pharmacy curricula to align with the latest scientific advancements and market demands. The attendees also discussed evaluation exam mechanisms and the importance of strengthening academic quality standards in assessments. Additionally, the meeting covered preparations for organizing a large-scale international conference, featuring scholars and researchers worldwide. The event, supported by leading pharmaceutical companies in the UAE, will see participation from pharmacy colleges across the Gulf region and several foreign countries, alongside major global pharmaceutical companies. The conference aims to enhance academic and research collaboration, discuss the latest advancements in pharmaceutical sciences, and foster innovation in the field. The board concluded by emphasizing the importance of ongoing dialogue and coordination among pharmacy colleges to ensure high-quality education that contributes to the advancement of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors in Iraq.
