The College of Pharmacy at University of Al-Maarif held a symposium on awareness-raising, the periodic examination and self-examination in a scientific lecture given by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Rushdie, Head of the Bacteriological and Immunological Branch of University of Iraq – College of Medical, Dr. Nabil Al-Hadithi, Manager of Al-Anbar Hospital, and Dr. Zina Salah, Early Detection and Population Survey Officer of the same hospital.
The symposium was attended by Dr. Wissam Al Zubin, Associate Manager General of Anbar Health Department and a Member of the Governorate Council, Dr. Kamal Najm Al Fahdawi, Captain of Doctors, Dr. Hussein Ali Jassim, Manager of the Technical Affairs Department of Al-Anbar Health Directorate, and Dr. Ayman Al-Dylan, Consultant at Anbar Oncology Hospital.
This symposium is part of the policy of attention to Iraqi women and is part of the activities of October Pink, which is considered the month of awareness-raising, periodic screening and the avoidance of breast cancer.
